Vokohtz.org

Welcome to vokohtz.org. Vokohtz is a combination of the names Vokoun and Kohtz, which share a few middle letters. Jamie and Craig will be Kohtzs, and Conner and Abby will be Vokouns, but together we are the Vokohtzs.

So now that we're done with the house, I seem to see the family less than I used to. I spend the majority of my time on the computer it seems like. I'm getting things done though. I got jauntstock.com functional (you can buy photos now), and I got Haley set up in my blog system, although you can't read her posts... yet. I spent last night designing her site, should have it up sometime next week.

I did take a moment the other day to make a little piece of art I've been thinking about for a while. I need to do something to keep my sanity.

Stack of Rocks

Tonight and this weekend, I'm going to hang out with the family (Sushi or Indian food tonight), maybe play some Super Mario Cart, and spend most of the weekend in McCook. Then, back to work.

Last night we cleaned out the attic (mostly), took all the china home, and cleaned out most of the house. We still have some work to do though, such as cleaning the basement, moving some dirt into the back yard, hanging a gutter, and painting a window. I also have to install a door and fix build a door on the bathroom vanity I built.

All-in-all, things are going ok, but there is still a lot of work to do, and not a lot of time to do it. We will be so happy once this is done with.

Made some good progress on the deck last night. Almost everything is done structure wise. I need to go to Home Depot one more time tonight and buy everything else I'll need. Should be finished tonight or tomorrow.

Jamie has been a big help, her last Twitter said, "Deck building...turns out I'm pretty good with the huge circular table saw thingy. The boards are cut, and I still have all of my fingers." I keep telling her she could be a pioneer woman, she keeps saying she doesn't want to be.
